The 10th International Conference on Environmental Catalysis & The 3rd International Symposium on Catalytic Science and Technology in Sustainable Energy and Environment

On behalf of the organizers, I would like to invite you to the 10th International Conference on Environmental Catalysis & the 3rd International Symposium on Catalytic Science and Technology in Sustainable Energy and Environment (ICEC&EECAT2018) in Tianjin, September 22-26th, 2018.

ICEC, which was first held in Pisa in 1995, has demonstrated a great worldwide influence on the progresses in catalysis during the last two decades. The biennial conference aims to strengthen international cooperation with a focus on global environment protection and its contribution to economic and social sustainability. In 2010, the 6th ICEC was held in China for the first time. After the subsequent successful three events in France, the United States and Australia, it is our great honor to welcome colleagues around the world come back to China to attend this academic event and exchange ideas for the development of catalytic science and technology.

EECAT is a series of symposia on energy and environmental catalysis initiated by Yongdan Li of Tianjin University, Johannes Schwank of University of Michigan and Jesper Nerlov of Haldor Topsoe in 2014. Our vision was to offer a forum for discussing the cutting-edge research and for sharing the most recent breakthroughs in energy and environmental technologies based on catalysis principles. With the great success of the first two events in Tianjin in 2014 and 2016, it is a great opportunity to combine the 3rdEECAT with the 10th ICEC together in 2018, which would provide a broader perspective and more communication and cooperation opportunities for colleagues in catalysis.

The Academic and Organizing Committees will make a program full of world leading names in catalysis to give plenary and invited lectures. We wish you a joyful stay in Tianjin. We also hope you will renew your mind with novel ideas within catalysis research during the conference.
