Abstract
Interchanges can switch between different highways, but there are many limitations on linear design that led to accidents. In order to further improve driving safety and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents. This paper takes 11 interchanges in Shanxi Province as the research object. According to the design principle of different combinations of horizontal and vertical alignment, the analysis area is divided into 8 basic sections. A linear analysis of the trunk line, ramps, and distribution lanes was performed to modify the basic model of crashes prediction (SPF) and establish the crashes correction model (CMF), and then applying the T test and the F test for significant test. This paper takes the Qinglong interchange of Sichuan Province as an example to verify the effectiveness of the crashes prediction model. The results show that the crashes prediction model constructed in this paper is significantly improved compared with the original model.
