Introduction
Description In today’s globally competitive environment, effective intelligent and intelligent computing technologies allow new opportunities for users and learners to be intensely connected. Advanced learning theories advocate many social aspects of learning such as collaborative learning, communities of practice, internalization of social process, participation in joint activity, and situated learning. The session brings together researchers, academics and industry practitioners who are involved or interested in the design and development of intelligent and Intelligent Learning computing Technologies. Understanding of the challenges faced in providing technology tools to support the learning process and ease the creation of instruction material using intelligent and intelligent technologies will help building a direction for further research and implementation work in the ubiquitous and intelligent learning society. The session will take place in Jeju Island, Korea October 11th ~ 13th, 2007.All papers in this session are published by IEEE CS Proceedings, which are indexed by EI and ISTP. Some outstanding papers are published by international journals, which are indexed by SCI. The topics include, but are not limited to: Adaptive and adaptable learning environments using intelligent and ubiquitous devices Agent support for intelligent and ubiquitous learning Amalgamating individual and collaborative learning in intelligent and ubiquitous learning environments Architectures and infrastructures for ubiquitous learning systems Architectures and implementations of context-aware learning technology systems Designs for wireless, intelligent and ubiquitous technologies in education Design of learner-supportive interfaces of ubiquitous learning applications Digital tangibles or wireless sensor networks for learning Entertainment computing for ubiquitous learning Evaluation and evaluation methodologies for ubiquitous learning environments Game-based learning in intelligent and ubiquitous learning environments Innovative and practical use of wireless, intelligent and ubiquitous technologies for education, learning and training Intelligent and ubiquitous computing support for collaborative learning New pedagogical theories for ubiquitous learning environments and society Web Information Filtering and Retrieval Web Mining and Farming Web Security, Integrity, Privacy and Trust Web Services and Grid Services Web Support Systems World Wide Wisdom Web Intelligent E-Technology Web application (E-learning, E-business, E- government ,Physical Training and Evaluation)
