Description

The 2016 12th International Conference on Natural Computation, Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (ICNC-FSKD 2016) will be held from 13-15 August 2016 in Changsha, China. Changsha is a city in the eastern part of Hunan province. Changsha is rich in tourist resources because of its unique geographical location.Surrounding the city are the beautiful Yuelu Mountain,Dawei Mountain and Weishan Mountain,and the Xiangjiang River and Liuyang River flow across it.The Juzizhou scenic spot in the city is regarded as one of the eight most charming places in Hunan attracting both domestic and overseas visitors. Changsha is also famous for being the home of Yuelu Shuyuan (an academic institution) which was established about 1,000 years ago.

As with the past ICNC-FSKD conferences, all papers in conference proceedings will be submitted to both EI Compendex and ISTP (ISI Proceedings), all previous ICNC-FSKD conferences from 2005 to 2015 have been indexed in Ei Compendex [ICNC-FSKD 2016: IEEE Conference Record #39538, IEEE Part Number: CFP16FSK-ART, ISBN: 978-1-5090-4093-3]. Extended versions of selected best papers will appear in SCIE-indexed international journals, such as Swarm and Evolutionary Computation (Elsevier, SJR: 4.638), Applied Soft Computing (SCI/Elsevier, Impact Factor: 2.810) and Journal of Computer and System Sciences (CCF B,IF: 1.2), as well as EI-indexed international journals. (The past conference proceedings from 2005 to 2015 appeared as 2 separate conferences, i.e., ICNC and FSKD. This is the first time that ICNC-FSKD is officially merged as a single conference.) 

ICNC-FSKD is a premier international forum for scientists and researchers to present the state of the art of data mining and intelligent methods inspired from nature, particularly biological, linguistic, and physical systems, with applications to computers, circuits, systems, control, communications, and more. This is an exciting and emerging interdisciplinary area in which a wide range of theory and methodologies are being investigated and developed to tackle complex and challenging problems. The registration fee includes proceedings, lunches, dinners, banquet, coffee breaks, and all technical sessions.

Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts written in English. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. Authors should use the Latex style files or MS-Word templates obtained from the conference site to format their papers. Authors should submit PDF files of their manuscripts via the online submission system. Submissions imply that the papers have not been submitted elsewhere and will not be submitted elsewhere for publications before the review decisions of this conference.
