In India, it is a big issue for maintaining the public restrooms. Public restrooms are characterized by bad odors and contamination due to the high usage. Ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent. It can oxidize organic substances such as bacteria and mildew, sterilize the air, and destroy odors and toxic fumes. It’s thousands of times faster than chlorine. Research has found that ozone levels of less than 9 ppm are required for disinfection. However FDA does not advice using ozone in rest rooms due to their high half life time (HLT) of about 8 hours and being an irritant to the lungs. HLT is based on various conditions including temperature and humidity. This work proposed a novel control system to reduce the HLT such that HLT is reduced dynamically using Artificial Intelligence.
