Discuss of Magnetic Field Enhanced Biomass Based High Quality Gas Production
Abstract Accepted
Conventional heating methods requires high temperature, which is easy to produce pollutants such as dioxins. The production of by-product tar reduces the conversion efficiency of biomass pyrolysis, corrodes equipment and easily causes environmental pollution, while the high CO2 content in the product reduces the energy density. The energy consumption of subsequent processing increaseds.Induction heating has the characteristics of long life, safe and reliable, accurate temperature control, high efficiency and lower energy consumption compared with the conventional heating methods. The magnetic field can promote biomass pyrolysis, tar decomposition and reaction temperature reduction, enhance catalyst activity and the absorption of CO2 by calcium-based catalysts, thereby increasing methane yield and improving gas quality. Therefore, this paper discusses the advantages of induction heating compared with the conventional heating methods. The magnetic field promotes the high-quality gas preparation of biomass-based thermal conversion .The effect of induction heating on the reduction of reaction temperature in biomass pyrolysis, the improvement of composite catalyst activity and the tar decomposition and CO2 removal are proposed. It provides the important theoretical basis for the development of advanced biomass resource utilization technology.
