Experimental study on external heating continuous pyrolysis system with straw briquetting fuel

Thermal utilization of agricultural residues such as straw is one of biomass energy technology direction. Straw briquetting fuel pyrolysis is one of important method to resolve rural residues resources, improve energy security and enhance rural economy. In the paper, external heating continuous pyrolysis system with straw briquetting fuel was set up. The main three components e.g. external heating pyrolysis equipment, high temperature gas crack equipment and bio-char fluidized-bed combustion equipment were designed and experimented. Combined with intelligent control system, clean gas was gotten under slow pyrolysis, tar removal and cascade utilization of energy using straw briquetting fuel. It provides reference for agricultural residues utilization in large-scale.
