Removal of Particulate Matter Using Ceramic Membrane from Oil Sludge Pyrolysis Products
Abstract Accepted
In this work, the pyrolysis process of oil sludge was studied with spiral feeding cleaning catalytic pyrolysis reactor. The effect of ceramic membrane and nickel-supported ceramic membrane on the removal of particulate matter was studied. The component of pyrolysis oil and gas were investigated by GC-MS. The size and element of particle matter were respectively analysed by SEM and XRF. With a COD rapid analyser, the COD content in pyrolysis water were measured. The result showed that the particle removal rate with nickel-supported ceramic membrane is higher than with ceramic membrane. With nickel-supported ceramic membrane, 98.9% of the solid particles in the pyrolysis gas were removed, 95.77% of the solid particles in the pyrolysis oil were removed, which compared with no ceramic membrane in the apparatus. The result also showed that nickel-supported ceramic membrane had a good effect on particulate matter removal of pyrolysis oil and gas.
