The rice husk and its pyrolytic carbon were pretreated in various ways to prepare a catalyst carrier, which was compared using commercial activated carbon powder, 20 wt.% of nickel nitrate hexahydrate was supported on the carbon support by dipping. The catalyst precursor was calcined at 450 ° C and then reduced to obtain a series of rice husk carbon-based catalysts. The hydrodeoxygenation reaction was carried out using guaiacol as a reaction substrate to investigate the effect of carbon-based catalysts on the hydrodeoxygenation of guaiacol under the action of different carriers. On this basis, the best supported carbon-supported catalyst obtained by acidification of rice husk after acidification was used, and the catalyst was modified by means of pressurization and addition of precious metal auxiliaries. The physical and chemical properties of the prepared catalyst samples were characterized by N2 physical adsorption, X-ray diffraction and field emission scanning electron microscopy. The catalyst samples before and after guaiacol reaction were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The catalyst sample was subjected to microwave digestion, and the digested solution was diluted and subjected to atomic absorption characterization to determine the loading amount of the active metal on the catalyst, and the catalyst was subjected to total acid titration to obtain the total amount of acid on the catalyst. The results of the hydrodeoxygenation reaction were determined by gas phase-mass spectrometry, and the relative contents of the organic compounds in the product were analyzed to further influence the effect of the catalyst on the hydrodeoxygenation activity of guaiacol. An analytical method based on carbon deposition of carbon-based catalysts was proposed, and the carbon deposition of catalysts after different reactions was analyzed.
