Forward-Backward Atomic Norm for Spectral Super-Resolution

A well-known fact in line spectral estimation (LSE) is that the complex conjugated backward data sequence is composed of the same frequency components as the original data sequence. In this paper, this fact is utilized to develop a forward-backward atomic norm method for LSE within the spectral super-resolution framework. It is shown theoretically that the proposed forward-backward method is superior to the previous, standard one.
