Abstract
We consider the problem of range-Doppler imaging of one-bit phase-modulated continuous-wave (PMCW) radar, which utilizes one-bit sampling with time-varying thresholds at the receiver. We formulate the range-Doppler estimation problem as a sparse signal recovery problem and adopt the majorization-minimization (MM) approach to solve it efficiently. We use log-sum penalty to obtain the sparse solution and derive the detailed updating formula for each MM iteration. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed range-Doppler estimation algorithm for one-bit PMCW radar.
