Abstract
This paper proposes a parameter identification method of dynamics models for permanent magnet synchronous linear motors (PMSLMs) to improve the accuracy of modelling of PMSLMs. A linear discrete transfer function of the PMSLM is first presented. Combining the recursive least squares method (RLSM) and multi-innovation least square method (MILSM), the parameters of the linear dynamics model are then identified. Simulation is performed using RLSM with or without MILSM. Simulation results are given and compared. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified finally.
