Abstract
In this paper, a phase-domain segmented powered permanent magnet linear synchronous machine (SPPMLSM) model considering different connection types and fault conditions is presented and investigated. Firstly, the current constraints under health condition, one or two phase open-circuit fault working conditions with single and double neutral points are summarized. Then a matrix D corresponding to the different working conditions is adopted to acquire a unified SP-PMLSM phase-domain model. Secondly, the back-EMF is precisely modeled based on Sigmoid function to take the effect during the mover passing through the segment into account. Finally, the effectiveness of unified phase-domain model is built in a FPGA and validated by a real-time simulation test set.
