Abstract
Higher thrust performance is required for permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM), especially for those used in direct drive field. One kind of PMLSM made by the oriented silicon steel sheet in the armature part is proposed in this paper, and by analysis this kind of motors should be designed subjected to some rules, and the simulation results are given to prove the effectivity of the proposed motor.
