Abstract
Various medical imaging tools have been developed for intraoperative disease detection and guided intervention. However, most of the existing tools display images on a screen instead of the disease site, leading to the frequent switch of the field of view and the possible localization error. We propose a co-axial projective imaging technique that is able to collect and display the medical images orthotopically at the site of interest. The technique has been verified through multiple clinical trials and further expanded to the application of teleguided surgery.
