In recent years, large-scale water conservancy projects have been carried out in China, which has brought many rock high slope projects with complex geological conditions and severe environmental factors. In the process of excavation and construction, many dangerous rock masses are formed on the slopes of high and steep engineering, and their stability problems are significant and universal. Dangerous rock mass has become a geological disaster that is difficult to evaluate and warn among many bad geological phenomena because of its destructive and unstable characteristics such as suddenness in time and dispersion in space.

    This research intends to carry out study on the identification of dangerous rock mass through technical applications such as UAV structural surface feature acquisition, three-dimensional laser scanning, remote laser Doppler vibration measurement. In the process of stability evaluation research, the technical route of parameter acquisition, model analysis, and state judgment is adopted. Through an analysis of vibration response characteristics of joint surface stiffness on dangerous rock mass, the relationship formula between amplitude ratio of the dangerous rock mass to the bedrock and the length of the bonding section of the joint surface is determined. The stability of the rock mass can be evaluated by combining the formula with the existing rock-mass limit equilibrium theory.   

    The research results of this paper are of great practical significance for the prevention and management of slope disasters, reduction of disaster risks, improvement of safety guarantees, reduction of disaster losses, and protection of water conservancy project construction and operation safety.
