According to the "Guidelines for Intelligent Construction of Coal Mines (2021 Edition)" issued by the National Energy Administration and the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, the geology support system is one of the most important basic systems of intelligent coal mine management and control platform, supporting the safe and efficient production of coal mines. Based on coal mine geological requirements analysis, business structure, functional structure, and system development technology, the main processes and key technologies in the development and construction of the intelligent coal mine geological support system are analyzed in detail. An introduction is provided to the main functional components of the system, including the construction of coal mine data resource centers, geological data management, digitization of geological drawings, comprehensive interpretation of geological detection results, and 3d geological modeling, geological prediction and forecasting, mining planning cutting and geological navigation, as well as detailed water, gas and other disaster prevention functions. The standardization, platformization, and streamlined workflow of coal mine geological support work are realized. Finally, taking the construction of the intelligent coal mine geological support system in Huangling mining district, Tangjiahui coal mine, and Wuhai mining district as examples, the specific effects of the system on improving the geological support level of intelligent coal mines are discussed, providing support for the intelligent construction of coal mines.
