The construction of digital twin irrigation districts represents a new stage in the high-quality development of irrigation districts. In order to effectively address issues such as extensive management in the operation and management processes of irrigation districts and continuously improve the intensity of water resources optimization and allocation, it is urgently necessary to carry out digitalization of irrigation district construction. By fully utilizing information technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and cloud computing, a digital twin irrigation district platform will be established. This platform will conduct research on key technologies and integration demonstrations of typical digital irrigation districts, integrate and converge massive amounts of heterogeneous data from multiple sources, develop combined models for "water demand-distribution-transfer" , and explore the realization of "four pre" functions for water resource allocation and flood control scheduling in conjunction with actual irrigation district management work. This includes visual display and intelligent analysis of all elements of irrigation and water supply information, real-time online analysis and early warning of engineering safety, and intelligent simulation of flood control and irrigation scheduling, aiming to continuously improve the comprehensive benefits of water resources, reduce losses from water disasters, enhance ecological benefits, and provide reference value for the digital construction of other irrigation districts.
