Research on arc-breaking characteristics of contactors based on image processing

This paper designs an image processing module with a series of functions, such as gray image conversion, pseudo-color enhancement, and binarization processing. According to the signal waveform collected by the system, the arc power of the electromagnetic switch is calculated and the arc image is analyzed. Using the test and analysis system of electromagnetic switch action characteristics independently developed by the research group, the synchronous trigger function is used at the same time as the test, and the arc image is photographed by a high-speed camera. Analyze the arc image, get detailed information on the arc image, generate the curve of arc area change, and explore the relationship between arc area change and other parameters.
