The study of the density and spatial distribution of different particles in vacuum arc is of great significance for further understanding of vacuum arc. The objective of this paper is to study the density and spatial distribution characteristics of different particles in the vacuum arc of Cu-Cr alloy electrodes. Using a high-speed camera and bandpass filters of different wavelengths, Cu-Cr alloy cup-shaped longitudinal magnetic contacts with different Cr contents were used to perform arc burning experiments in a demountable vacuum chamber. By installing different bandpass filters on the high-speed camera, the density and spatial distribution characteristics of different particles in the vacuum arc of Cu-Cr alloy electrodes were obtained.
