Abstract
This article proposes an analytical method for studying the contact coefficient of bearing outer rings under complex spalling and delamination. The proposed model effectively addresses the limitations of previous models, which often oversimplify fault features and lack fidelity to real-world conditions. Compared with the finite element method, the analysis method proposed in this paper achieves considerable accuracy while providing significantly faster calculation speed. The output results of the program are highly correlated with the finite element simulation results in terms of stress distribution, verifying the accuracy and effectiveness of the roller bearing model and analysis method. The results indicate that the proposed method effectively characterizes the actual form of complex spalling of bearing outer ring, rather than idealized experimental failures, thus being more consistent with real appearance of the bearing outer ring spalling.
