Abstract
The growing number and diversity of chemicals, coupled with stringent global safety requirements and a shift away from animal testing, necessitate more efficient toxicity screening methods. In response, we have established a suite of high-throughput, stem cell-based in vitro models that recapitulate key developmental stages of organ systems—including the heart, liver, nervous system, lungs, and skin—to systematically evaluate environmental pollutants. To enhance screening efficiency, we developed specific reporter cell lines using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. Furthermore, to address the challenges of data complexity and volume, we implemented innovative strategies for cross-platform toxicogenomic integration and developed interactive visualization tools for high-throughput assay data. In the biomedical domain, we created an AI-assisted visual analytics system for adverse drug event data. Collectively, our work in stem cell toxicology modeling, coupled with advanced data integration and intelligent analysis, provides a robust framework for next-generation human health risk assessment.
