Abstract
Electrochromic glass can actively and dynamically regulate its light transmittance based on ambient temperature, light intensity, and user preference. As the direct voltage application unit in electrochromic glass, the bus bar significantly influences coloration speed and uniformity. Based on the principle of charge conservation, this paper simplifies the structural relationship between the transparent conductive film and bus bars in electrochromic glass. Through simulation calculations analyzing how dimensional variations in three bus bar configurations ("一"-shaped, "一L"-shaped, and "double L"-shaped) affect average electric potential and potential variance, we found: The "double-L" bus bar exhibits higher potential variance compared to "一"-shaped and "一L" configurations, indicating superior potential distribution uniformity. This effectively mitigates the "curtain effect" during coloration, delivering enhanced visual performance and aesthetics. The "一L" bus bar achieves higher average electric potential, translating to faster coloration speed. This makes it a viable solution for large-area electrochromic glass panels, effectively addressing significant voltage drop issues in such applications.
