Assembly planning methods generally need to express all of the sequence solutions. However, with the increase of the number of parts in the product, there will be a combination explosion in the sequence solution space. In order to effectively reduce the number of parts in the product sequence planning, the product assembly hierarchy model is established, and the interference matrix and connection matrix are analyzed, based on assembly mating features to identify sub assembly, the assembly sequence of the product can be automatically generated efficiently.
