Performance Model of Future Network OpenFlow Soft Switch Based On KPLS

SDN (Software Defined Network) is the important part of Future Network, and the OpenFlow soft switch which separates the control plane from the data plane is the key instrument. In this paper, the OpenFlow switch are analyzed, the main performance parameters are throughput, packet loss and time-delay, the influence factors are throughput, packet size and the transforming packet quantity. Kernel Partial Least Squares (KPLS) algorithm is proposed and applied to study the performance model of the OpenFlow soft switch. The nonlinear relationship of the measured data was transformed into quasi-linear, the simulation of the algorithm shows that the performance model has a good performance.
