Seat Belt Protection of Train Driver during Secondary Impact

HYBRID III dummy with two-point seat belt was applied to the simulation of train driver protection during secondary impact. Comparing the simulation results of two-point seat belt scenario and no seat belt scenario, the advantage and disadvantage of two-point seat belt were found. In the front collision scenario, train driver with two-point seat belt could be more dangerous in rail crash events.
