Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference 2017

In the new era of connectivity, we are witnessing rapid economic, societal and global transformations that are unfolding at an unprecedented pace. The brave new world is both promising and challenging for our younger generation. The best way of handing the future to our children is to equip them with the right dispositions, values and skills to live in and to shape the future – their future. Indeed, education plays a crucial role as change agent. Educators should be inspired to create learning environments in schools where an entrepreneurial dare is encouraged, and students can become innovators and path-blazers who can create value for society, as well as nurture and strengthen social cohesion and inclusion.

As in past conference editions, Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference 2017 aims to provide a global platform for practitioners, researchers, educational leaders and policymakers to collectively debate, generate creative solutions, and to actively exchange research ideas and experiences that adhere to this year’s conference theme, Education for the Future: Creativity, Innovation, Values.

The conference will offer opportunities for multi-stakeholder interactions, sharing of international leading-edge research and best practices across schools and cultures, forging of new and innovative directions for educational research and practice, and broadening of professional networks throughout the region and globally.

The Organizing Committee invites abstracts that explicate or critique ideas around developing creativity, innovation and values in the 21st century. We encourage the submission of presentations by educators, researchers and policymakers from all disciplines as the strands of the conference address the full spectrum of grade levels and academic subjects, with an overarching focus on the stated conference theme.
