3rd International meeting on architectural heritage of the Mediterranean

The 3rd International meeting on architectural heritage of the Mediterranean which will be held in Lisbon Lusíada University, Portugal, 15-17 October 2009, will present an opportunity for reviewing major events and developments related to Mediterranean Architectural Heritage. The main goal of RIPAM_3 is the meeting of cultures whose cradle is the Mediterranean Sea, bringing awareness to the major discoveries and achievements that involve the architectural heritage and, at the same time, refers to the Mediterranean Culture. Therefore, it is intended that, in an interdisciplinary way, all those involved in creating, protecting and safeguarding the architectural heritage may gather around the concept of Mediterranean Culture as the unifying cradle of numerous civilizations, and also full of diversity, encounters, antitheses and, foremost, plural.
