International Symposium:“Geological engineering problems in major construction projects” in combinat

On behalf of both the China National Group of IAEG and Chengdu University of Technology, I earnestly request that the congress named “Geological engineering problems in major construction projects” be held in Chengdu, China ,in September 9th -11th, 2009. The purpose of this congress is to provide a platform for exchanging and discussion on typical geological problems in certain major construction projects of each country and experience summarization so as to promote the development of Engineering Geology and offer instructions to the engineering construction practice. According to its arrangement, during the congress some key projects will be visited for onsite discussion, and engineering technology and equipments will be displayed.
