Introduction
The 8th International Workshop "INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACHES IN FRACTAL ANALYSIS" IAFA 2017 will be held in Bucharest, in the last week of May (29-31) and will be hosted by the Faculty of Control and Computers, "Politehnica" University of Bucharest, Romania.
Like the previous six editions, the International Workshop IAFA 2017 is dedicated to the presentation and discussion of technical advances in fractal analysis and chaos theory methods for a wide array of applications in signal, image and multimedia processing, data mining and retrieval, complex systems modeling and others.
