Energy minimization methods have become an established computational paradigm in computer vision and pattern recognition. EMMCVPR is a regular bi-annual conference dedicated to advancing the state of the art in this field. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the conference series, with the inaugural meeting having taken place in Venice in 1997, and we will celebrate it by bringing it back to Venice.
