Introduction

This workshop is organized in collaboration with the OpenFog Consortium. Founded in November 2015 by major industry movers and leading academic institutions, the consortium aims to bring industry and academic leadership and partnership to drive Fog adoption. With active participation from both sides, OpenFog is developing a reference architecture and testbeds to demonstrate Fog technology capabilities and business values. It is partnering closely with academia to identify and solve fundamental issues and challenges that must be addressed to realize the full potential of Fog computing.
