9th International Conference on Mycorrhizas (ICOM 2017)

We are very pleased to welcome you to the 9th International Conference on Mycorrhiza, to be held from July 30 till August 4, 2017 in Prague, Czech Republic.

Returning to Europe after previous meetings of this series in Brazil, India and the United States of America, this conference will provide a truly global platform for a wide and open exchange of knowledge on mycorrhizal symbiosis, from its anatomy and development through the underlying molecular mechanisms, mycorrhizal ecology and functioning, and its implications for the ecosystems as well as the human society. Particularly,  we would like to stimulate discussion on whether the lessons of cooperation in mycorrhizal symbiosis could help establishing a brighter future of the mankind. Given the attractive destination, available congress infrastructure, professional organizer support, and vibrant mycorrhizal research in the Czech Republic, we strongly believe that the International Conference on Mycorrhiza in Prague will be a great success with possibly a record-breaking attendance.
