Introduction
The N panel of Soil Science Society of China (SSSC) and the East Asia Center of International Nitrogen Initiative (INI) are pleased to announce the International Conference of Nitrogen Cycling and Its Environmental Impacts in East Asia (NCEIEA) will be held from 19-22 October 2017 in Nanjing, China. The International Conference of NCEIEA focuses on the theme, as its name showing, Nitrogen Cycling and Its Environmental Impacts, and offers exceptionally exciting topics ranging from the soil/aquatic N transformations to the regional N assessment in East Asia region.

The technical sessions will focus on the following five themes, which may be combined depending on the submitted abstracts:

(3) New methods of studying N transformations in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems
(4) Modeling N cycling in ecosystems
(5) Managing N reasonably in ecosystems
