GEP Conference "Migration and the reshaping of consumption patterns: economics and politics" - Nottingham Centre for Research on Globalisation and Economic Policy

As part of the ESRC funded project “Migration and the Reshaping of Consumption Patterns (MARCO_P)” the Nottingham Centre for Globalisation and Economic Policy (GEP) will host a workshop on 7th -8th September 2017, to be held at University of Nottingham. The workshop will provide a forum for the dissemination of research relating to the impact of the migration on consumption patterns, the relationships between institutions, population change and consumption behaviour, and the consequences of migration on the transfer of consumption norms, from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. The goal of the conference is to bring together researchers working on the project with outside experts to discuss their recent works.
