2017 International Workshop on Engineering Technologies and Computer Science

The S.I. Vavilov Institute for History of Science and Technology of the Russian Academy of Sciences and The Polytechnic Museum are happy to announce the International Workshop "Engineering Technologies and Computer Science - EnT 2017", and cordially invite you to attend this Conference, to be held in Moscow, Russia, 28 September, 2017.

The workshop is supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, IEEE and IEEE Computer Society. In 2017, we celebrate many anniversary dates associated with the history of the development of engineering science and technology in Russia.

This year we celebrate the 145th anniversary of the founding of the Polytechnic Museum, 85 years of the founding of the S.I. Vavilov Institute for History of Science and Technology, 60 years of the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite, 50 years since the creation of BESM-6 - the best Soviet computer of the middle of the last century, which played a significant role in the development of computing technologies in the USSR.

In honor of these remarkable dates, we hold our international workshop "Engineering Technologies and Computer Science".
