Introduction
In conjunction with the 9th International Conference on Knowledge and System Engineering Hue, Vietnam, October 19-21th, 2017. We are pleased to announce the Special Session on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (VAPR2017) to be organized by the Vietnamese Association for Pattern Recognition jointly with the 9th International Conference on Knowledge and System Engineering (KSE2017). This special session serves as an international forum to bring together researchers and experts for sharing their latest research findings and/or experimental results, consolidating potential collaborations, and to advance on going research dedicated to multimedia analysis, pattern recognition and related areas.
