International Rail Conference 2017 (IRC 2017)

The Government envisions Indian Railways (IR) to be a key driver of India’s growth and development. It has initiated numerous steps towards transforming IR to become the most efficient land transport through capacity expansion, modernization of infrastructure, improving customer experience, focusing on safety and achieving financial self-sustainability. IRC provides an ideal platform for manufacturers and service providers to interact with senior officials from the Ministry of Railways apart from domestic and international players. The sessions during the conference will be a channel to share the vision for the sector, impending policy reforms and basic framework for engagement. It would also focus on future opportunities and directions for Indian Rail sector and potential areas of collaborations. The event is expected to have a participation of industry leaders, policy makers and other stakeholders.
