International Conference on the Finite Volume Method: Applications and Numerics (ICFVM 2018)

We are pleased to announce the International Conference on the Finite Volume Method: Applications & Numerics (ICFVM 2018) to be held in Beirut, Lebanon, July 11-14, 2018

Since 1991, the CFD group at AUB has witnessed a tremendous regional increase in the use of CFD, at both academia and industry. This has translated into a growing and dynamic CFD community in the region and a rapidly expanding CFD market in terms of applications and capital. It is high time that an international level conference be organized to cater for the specific needs of the region. This is the driver behind organizing this conference, which we hope will grow to become a regular event.

The conference will bring together graduate students, university faculty, and researchers together with consultants and practitioners from industry in the MENA region to share the latest developments in the field.

The technical program of the ICFVM Conference that will be held in July 11-14, 2018 features oral presentations, posters and workshops, including 4 keynote lectures by outstanding researchers and practitioners in the CFD community.
