2017 International Conference on Groundwater Protection and Water System Security

Groundwater and surface water,  as the two important parts of water systems, are key elements of ecological systems, and provide the essential water supply for us. Groundwater covers , for example, nearly 70% of the drinking water and about 40% of the irrigation water in China. How to protect the groundwater and avoid or reduce contamination of the water systems are very urgent and important tasks not only in China but also in the world. The "2017 International Conference on Groundwater Protection and Water System Security", aims to improve management levels and optimally controlling capability for watersheds and regional water environment, to further enhance the comprehensive protection on water environment, and to provide the latest research achievements and advanced practical technology for the security of water systems and safety of drinking water.

The conference will offer a platform for wide exchanges and presentations in the field of groundwater protection and water system security including new ideas, new policies, new methods, new technologies, new products and new modes. The conference will also provide opportunity for further discussion on how to integrate water technology,water industry,water culture together and how to construct a comprehensive platform.
