Workshop on Geometric Group Theory

Geometric group theory is an area in mathematics devoted to the study of discrete groups by exploring the connections between algebraic properties of such groups and topological and geometric properties of spaces on which these groups act. This workshop contains several research talks based on the speakers recent works, and offers two mini-courses on some recent development in this area. We hope that this workshop could offer an opportunity for all the participants to make intensive exchanges of ideas.
