Young Geometric Analysts’ Forum 2018

Many celebrated results in geometry and topology have been proved by geometric analysis approaches in recent years. More and more mathematicians with different backgrounds, e.g. Riemannian geometry, partial differential equations, topology, probability and even discrete mathematics, come to contribute in the field of geometric analysis. In this fast-developing field, some young mathematicians are doing really excellent works, while some young mathematicians are still trying to broaden their research horizons. The aim of this workshop is to bring together young mathematicians from both overseas and mainland working in different areas of geometric analysis to present their research works, to broaden their field, to encourage new collaboration, and last but not least, to create new friendships. One of the main reasons to organize this workshop is to give young geometric analysts more chance to present their work and/or to broaden their view. So again, most of the attendees of this workshop are young geometric analysts under the age of 40, or who have obtained his/her Ph.D. within last 10 years.
