Introduction
2018 IEEE International Conference on Power and Energy (PECon2018) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 3-4 December 2018. This is the 7th edition of PECon, which is jointly-organized biennially by IEEE Power & Energy Society Malaysia Chapter and IEEE Power Electronics Society Malaysia Chapter. The objective of the conference is to share the latest research in the areas of electrical power, power electronics, electrical drives, renewable energy and control systems. At the same time it allows the international delegates to discover the “Beautiful and Peaceful Malaysia”.
