The 9th International Conference on Mushroom Biology and Mushroom Products

China’s mushroom industry has experienced rapid and remarkable progress during the lastthree decades, and this year the 9th International Conference on Mushroom Biology and Mushroom Products (9th ICMBMP) will be held in Shanghai and Zhangzhou, China from November 12~19, 2018. The academic conference will take place in Shanghai from November 12~15, and the mushroom product exhibition will be held together with the 12th Chinese Mushroom Daysfrom November 16~19 in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province. 

Organized by the World Society for Mushroom Biology and Mushroom Products (WSMBMP), the ICMBMP is the only international conference that is focused on scientific research of edible and medicinal mushrooms, and the development and marketing of mushroom products. Since the founding of the WSMBMP in 1993, these conferences have been held every three years at venues the world over. This year’s conference will provide both a platform for mushroom researchers to exchange first-hand information on the latestscientific advances, and an international stage for China’s mushroom industrialists to showcase the most recent technological advances, product innovations and market trends.
