On behalf of the organizing committee for the 62nd IEEE International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems we are pleased to invite you to MWSCAS 2019 to be held in Dallas Texas, August 4-7, 2019. MWSCAS is the oldest Circuits and Systems Symposium sponsored by IEEE and will celebrate its 62nd conference with special events commemorating significant events in the history of MWSCAS. It is the flagship CAS conference in IEEE regions 1-7 and has one of the most stable, continuous, well established, and dedicated steering committee.
MWSCAS 2019 will include oral and poster sessions, student paper contest, tutorials given by experts in circuits and systems topics, and special sessions. Topics include all areas of electronic circuits and systems covering the latest innovations. Tutorials will be available on Sunday August 4 to provide an opportunity to quickly get up to speed in specific areas of circuits and systems appropriate for both experts and those new to the field.
Dallas Texas is a major industrial and financial center and serves as headquarters for a large number of Fortune 500 companies. Technology is the leading industry in Dallas with almost half of the high-tech. workers in the State of Texas employed in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolex. The Telecom Corridor located dominantly in northern Dallas is home to many of the leading telecommunication companies. The rapidly growing Dallas-Fort Worth region is the 4th largest metropolitan area in the U.S. with a wide variety of entertainment options and diverse dining choices. Thanks to the DFW International airport is one of the largest and busiest airports in the world with direct flights to many destinations in both the US and abroad, Dallas is also a tourist destination offering diverse cultural attractions, vibrant nightlife, and family fun.
