Over the past five years, we witnessed the world we live in entirely disrupted by improvements in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and control engineering. Algorithms and machine learning are trading millions of dollars in financial markets; they are predicting what people want to search for online; facial recognition helps police identify criminals. Soon, AI could be driving our cars and trains even airplanes, Intelligent Robotic and Control Engineering will have a fundamental impact on the society in the next few years.
2019 The 5th International Conference on Control, Automation and Robotics (ICCAR 2019) will take place at Beijing, China during April 19-22, 2019. On the theoretical side, this conference features papers focusing on intelligent systems engineering, distributed intelligence systems, multi-level systems, intelligent control, multi-robot systems, cooperation and coordination of unmanned vehicle systems, etc. On the application side, it emphasizes autonomous systems, industrial robotic systems, multi-robot systems, aerial vehicles, underwater robots and sensor-based control.
Under the background of China's National strategies, such as “Made in China 2025” and “A New Generation of Artificial Intelligence Development Plan”, we believe ICCAR 2019 would be the platform for academic exchanges, thought collisions, inspiration, and results sharing, we do wish all the participants take this opportunity to have future international collaborations.

Authors have the following submission choices:
1. Abstracts
All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by our committees, and accepted ones will be included in the conference program, provided at the conference.
2. Conference Proceedings
All submitted full papers will be peer-reviewed by our committees, and accepted ones will be published into the conference proceedings.
Accepted and registerd papers will be invited to give the oral/poster presentation at the conference. All submissions will be checked for originality.
Send your paper to Electronic Submission System. ( .pdf only)
Review Process
encourages submissions from under-represented areas. We recognizes that not every paper will necessarily contain new theoretical results or new algorithms, and strongly encourages the submissions that provide new models and analyses that are rigorously validated through implementation and experimentation. We will make every effort to fairly review papers with a systems focus.
Policy on Multiple Submissions
We will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under review, is accepted for publication, or has already been published in another conference or a journal. ICCAR is utterly intolerant of plagiarism. Submitted papers are expected to contain original work executed by the authors with adequate, proper and scholarly citations to the work of others. It is the job of the authors to clearly identify both their own contribution(s) and also published results / techniques on which they depend or build. Reviewers are charged to ensure these standards are met.
Instructions for Accepted Papers
After registration, the final paper submitted designates your paper as "Camera Ready" and it will be available online as part of the conference proceedings. Please note that there will not be an additional opportunity to revise your paper. In preparing for the proceedings, please follow the author guidelines posted above under "Paper Format."
