8th International SUT Technical Conference & 1st Symposium on Ship and Marine Engineering Equipment (SUT2020)

To build an open platform for the technical exchanges, and to promote technological progress of exploration and development of global marine energy, and also to build an cooperation between universities, enterprises and research institutions, the 8th International SUT Technical Conference and 1st Symposium on Ship and Marine Engineering Equipment will be held in Zhoushan on September 18-22, 2019. Experts and scholars from different countries are invited to the Conference, to discuss the topics on deepwater technology, marine energy development, ship and marine engineering equipment.

     Founded in 1966 and headquartered in London, United Kingdom, the Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) (http://www.sut.org.uk) is the most influential international organization in the field of underwater engineering. It is a multidisciplinary society of institutions and individuals concerned with underwater technology, marine science and marine engineering. Since 2012, the annual International SUT Technical Conference, initiated by SUT China Branch and highly recognized by experts and scholars, has been successfully held for 7 years in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Qingdao, Haikou and Beijing.

     The 1st Symposium on Ship and Marine Engineering Equipment will be held jointly with the SUT conference this year. Ship and marine engineering industrial transformation and upgrading, improvement of personnel training, service ability of marine economy, the future of marine engineering equipment, high technology of ship and other topics will be discussed.

     The conference will be held at the beautiful Islands of Zhoushan, which is famous for the Putuo Mountain and offers the largest range of seafood for gourmets in China. The local organizer Zhejiang Ocean University (ZJOU) is one of the most well-established universities in China for ocean related disciplines.
