MARSS, the annual Int. Conference on Manipulation, Automation and Robotics at Small Scales, will be held July 01 to 05, 2019, in Helsinki, Finland. The conference has the ambition to be the flagship forum for cross-disciplinary R&D communities to discuss current activities related to manipulation and automation (including measurement and characterization) at micro and nano scales, and to all kinds of small scale robots and their applications.

Author guidelines

  • MARSS2019 registration fee cannot be waived or discounted for anybody. This includes all Chairs, Keynote speakers, Plenary speakers, Invited speakers in Special sessions, all other speakers, members of the conference committees, and other attendees. MARSS2019 also cannot provide any travel grants or other financial support. Please abstain from sending requests of this kind to MARSS2019 secretariat.

  • Student registration must be accompanied with a confirmation of valid matriculation.

  • Accommodation is not included in the fees.

  • Please be aware that only one presentation at the conference is covered by the basic registration fee. Maximum two additional presentations by the same person are allowed (extra fee to be paid: 200 EUR for one additional presentation OR 400 EUR for two additional presentations, see below).

Topics of submission

High-profile Keynote talks on selected topics in robotics, manipulation, and automation at small scales will be given by distinguished international experts. Besides the mainstream topics, MARSS provides the Keynote stage for presentations from „outside the box“ to give the audience new insights into neighboring realms.
