Abstract
Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) assembly is promising in the application of optical anti-counterfeiting, and uniaxial-orientation assembly shows unique advantages of high information accuracy by virtue of structural monochrome. Structural monochrome assembly arrays shows poor mechanical adaptability due to only rigid CNCs as building unit, and co-assembly with flexible polymer chains is supposed. Mechanical enhancement is expected, and the micro-structure variations during stretching might bring surprises for stress/strain responsiveness.
