The 3rd International Symposium on Nanocellulosic Materials (3rd ISNCM)

Along with the rocket development of nanocellulose field in the past two decades, there emerge numerous terminologies related with nanocellulose research and applications. The knowledge complexity, inconsistency, and redundancy accordingly brought challenges to access all merits of nanocellulose. The application of knowledge management approaches in nanocellulose domain may help addressing these problems, promoting communications and collaborations among multiple sectors of society, especially academic and industries, and in return speeding up further research and development of nanocellulose. Here we introduce the ontology-based techniques to structure concepts and relations related with nanocellulose and show the beauty of the approaches through building a mini ontology in Protégé.
